The paths accommodates strollers, as well as wheelchairs, and is leashed-dog friendly. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; provides objective and credible information; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. Approximately 29.1 Americans have diabetes and more than 5 million of them do not even know they have the disease.
